September 15, Entry 5

Topic: Losing a winning lottery ticket.

If I lost a winning lottery ticket I would go insane. Well, I guess it would depend how much I had won, because if it was one of the scratch cards where you win $5 or $6 it wouldn't be a big deal, but since I'm guessing they mean an actual lottery ticket I would be devastated.

If it was worth millions of dollars, I think it would be, to anyone, one of the most depressing things ever. Who would want to lost millions of dollars? I know I wouldn't. But I guess if you did, there really wouldn't be anything that you could do about it.

I guess eventually you would get over it, but when you first lost it, it you be so awful. Even though I probably will never win the lottery, I would be so careful as not to lose it. I don't know how I could even think straight think 'I just lost millions of dollars, all because I misplaced a little piece of paper'. I think it would be just as bad as to miss it by just one number.

  1. Good topic. You know what's funny is that I actually give lottery tickets as birthday presents. I do this because they are pretty cheap and the person could win some good money. However, if that lottery ticket happened to be worth hundreds of dollars I would be so MAD that I gave it away as a gift. What do you think? Should I continue to give them as presents?? :)
