Topic: Christmas Break (before) continued...

On the Saturday after Christmas it's my grandma's birthday so were going out to dinner. I think it's fun to have Christmas and then the next day go out.

On Sunday I'm going to get my hair cut. My cousin Piper cuts my hair so it's always fun to catch up on everything thats happened.

...

On New Years Eve I'm going to Theresa's house for her New Years Eve party. It should be fun because there will be guys there and then the girl's get to sleep over.

For the rest of vacations I'll probably not do that much. Probably go to my dad's and spend a lot of time with him. I might even go with him tonight.

After break happens I'll write about everything that did happen, but more of what I did because right now I don't know everything I'm going to do or going to get.

Only 3 more days until Christmas!! :D

Topic: Christmas gift(s)

I couldn't decide on what I wanted to get my mom. I thought it would be super awesome if I bought her something with my own money, instead of my dads. Since I did work for my grandma this summer, I have close to $200. I had been thinking on what to get her for a while now, and I finally decided to check out some jewelry I could find online. I kept looking, but I couldn't find anything that was in my price range that she would like. After looking for a few hours I found a mother's ring. My dad had gotten her a mother's necklace with my sisters and my birthstones on it.

So the ring I picked out in the shape of an open heart, on the inside you put your birth stones, which I put mine (peridot) with my name on the band next to it. Then I put my sister Madi's (emerald) with her name next to it on the band. Finally I put Savannah's (ruby) with her name next to it.

I bought the silver one, with my sister's and my birthstones and names on it.

I had to buy it with a credit card because it was online, so there I had help from my dad. He said I don't have to pay him back, but I'm going to make him take the money because I should pay for it since it's from me.

Topic: Snow/Snow Storms

Call me crazy, but I absolutely LOVE snow storms. I don't like missing school and then making it up at the end of the year, but I think it's so fun and exciting when the power goes out and you have nothing to do except find your own ways to entertain yourself. I find it fun because it's not something that happens everyday.

I love the snow, and I really don't like summer (which is opposite of everyone else). I think the snow is so magical and beautiful so maybe that's why I love snow storms. I think even though they are really nasty and dangerous (if your driving) they are so pretty because of all of the snow.

However, I HATE the ice. I think ice is the worst thing ever, because it is so slippery, I get hurt doing even the simplest things in the world, so I usually slip and fall and hurt myself. I'm not looking forward to driving in snow/ice, I don't think it will be very fun at all.

We just found out that we get out at 12:30 which means I'll be stuck at home with my sisters who couldn't get along if the other was dying. So which isn't a highlight of missing school. :(

Topic: How I think the world will end...

I think it's possible the world might end in 2012, I even had a dream about that last night (which is a really weird thing to dream about). I'm not sure why I think that, but it seems really possible because if you think about it the world has been around for thousands of years and it just makes sense that it should end eventually.

I think that the sun will send off solar flares bigger than ones ever than before, which causes the arctic ice to melt and then the world will have like a super big tsunami.
Or maybe the world will dry up and everything will starve and dehydrate and we all die.

I think this is probably a really weird topic, and it probably sounds really strange that I have theories of how the worlds going to end. I'm not even sure how these things just come to me. I find it weird that I even think of these things.

Topic: Thanksgiving Break

Over break I really didn't do that much, but what I did was I guess "Fun".

Tuesday night I stayed at Haley's dad's with obviously Haley, Kate, and Sam K. We started watching a movie, but we just kept talking and talking.

On Wednesday I baked pies with my mom for Thanksgiving with my mom's side of the family. We made Cherry, Pecan, and Apple Crisp. Then I went and helped my grandma make this cranberry stuff.

On Thursday I had Thanksgiving with my mom's family. It wasn't that exciting, but I did get to see my dad that day.

On Friday I went to the craft show at the US Cellular Center with my aunt LaNeil and aunt Dedra. It was pretty fun. After that I went to pick out a wedding dress with my aunt Dedra and my cousins fiancee. I thought that was really awesome because I hadn't ever done that before. After that we went to Menard's and got stuff for my sisters Christmas tree. Both of my sisters were come, Madi was with a friend and Savannah was at my dad's, so me and my mom just hung out and watched ghost shows which is one of our favorite things to watch.

On Saturday we put up our Christmas tree, but in order to out it up we had to buy a new tree and lights. As soon as my mom and I got to Menard's are car started smoking from underneath the hood so we had to have Alison and her mom come and pick us up. I stayed at my dad's that night. We watched some movies and just hung out.

On Sunday after my dad brought me home, when Kate and Alison came into my when I was barely ready and asked me to go to New Moon. I only had 5 minutes to finish getting ready. But I was glad I did because I thought the movie was really good.

Topic: Halloween

So far I've talked about Fall, which is kind of like Halloween I guess.

I love Halloween, it's one of my favorite holidays, along with Christmas. I think Halloween is so much fun because you dress up (mostly little kids) and go around and get candy. I think it's fun to see what all the little kids dress up as, I think it's just kind of neat to see the difference of what kids want to be. At my house we really get into Halloween, my mom still makes my sister's their costumes. We've had some pretty cool ones at our house. I was a banana when I was like 3, and I won at a costume party. My sister, Madi, was a genie last year, and this year she is being a fortune teller. My mom made all of those costumes.

I personally like all the scary movies and decorations. I think it's so much fun getting scared by a stupid little scary movie, but I will admit I get freaked out by them. I like getting together with my friends, who get scared easily like me, and watching a ton of scary movies and then just freak out about them. I'm not sure why we find getting scared to death fun, most people who don't like getting scared probably don't watch scary movies, but we're weird so we find it fun.

I really like Halloween also because it is in fall, which as I have already said, I like fall a lot. I think all the pumpkins and people that do decorations are pretty cool because I see how they can get into it. I love carving pumpkins, doing outside decorations, and just being outside to feel the cold fall air and how pretty it looks outside.

Topic: Picture of the Northern Lights

I think this picture is super pretty. The way the sky is green, blue, and pinkish/purple is just super amazing. I like how the snow underneath is a purplish color. I think this picture is pretty unique how the lights swirl and twist like they do, because most northern lights I have seen are more straight. I think it would be so much fun to live in Alaska or somewhere more northern so you could see the northern lights. I've always wanted to see the northern lights and hope to see them in the future. I think the more colors there are, the prettier they are. I just think it is incredibly amazing how nature can develop something so amazing and pretty, when at most times nature can create something such as natural disasters. It's pretty cool how nature can create something so beautiful as the northern lights, as well as it can create terrifying things such as tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, and awful things like that.

Topic: Rain/Storms

I absolutely LOVE when it rains! I really don't like it when it rains in the winter, because it obviously turns into ice (and since I'm not coordinated we don't mix). I sort of don't like it when it rains in spring because it's a cold rain and the earth is already all mushy and gross. I like it when it rains in summer, except for the humidity, because it's a warm rain. I LOVE when it rains during the fall! For some reason I love everything about fall, but I especially love the rain because it's a cool rain and it is just so pretty with the changing leaves and it makes the ground greener for just a while longer.

I absolutely HATE storms! I do not like the thunder, or lightning, or the heavy winds. I however do like winter storms because I think they're cool (I'm not sure why), and we usually don't have school the next day. When it storms the rest of the year, for some reason I always think that there's going to be a tornado or something bad is going to happen, but I am the kind of person who always looks at the bad side of things rather than the good.

Topic: If I didn't have any arms...

If I didn't have any arms I think it would be very difficult, obviously. Since I like to write, be on the computer, and so much more.

If I couldn't write, it would be awful. I write for fun or just to get things off my chest. It helps me express my feelings when I don't want to talk to people about them, which makes my mom mad because she feels that I don't tell her enough about what's new that's going on. It would just be so frustrating because then I would be forced to tell my mom about what's new that's happening, which I do sometimes, but she gets WAY to involved if there's an issue, but I guess it's kind of her job.

If I couldn't be on the computer, well that would just be depressing. I LIVE off of the computer, I just like to get on and talk to people over facebook and IM, and other stuff like that. I keep in touch with family from out of state, or just people that live out of town. I love to play computer games, so it wouldn't be very fun if I couldn't do that anymore.

It would be insanely difficult if I didn't have arms because I do SO much everyday with them, but I would know how the people who don't have arms would feel.

Topic: Grey's Anatomy :)

I decided writing about Grey's Anatomy because tonight the 6th Season starts.

Grey's Anatomy is my favorite show ever so I'm so excited about the new season!! I almost died over the summer because it wasn't on. I did get into CSI because it was on, but Grey's Anatomy is my all time favorite. It's kind of sad because I have Seasons 1 - 5 on dvd. Everyone makes fun of me for it but I can't help it.

I know it's going to be super sad though because my 2 favorite characters were dying in the last episode of season 5. Izzie was dying from cancer, and George got hit by a bus on his way to go see his parents before he left for Iraq. I've hear/read that Izzie's characters is going to live, but George's dies:(. At least both of them aren't going to die because that would be so depressing.

I get really into shows when I start watching them, because when I first started watching Grey's Anatomy it was already the middle of the 2nd season, so I went out and bough all of them (I'm really good at saving up money). I only bought 2 seasons, my aunt bought me Season 1, Alison's mom bought me season 4, and I paid $15 for the 5th one because my mom bought the rest for a late birthday present.

I guess I'm kind of a geek when it comes to Grey's Anatomy, but it's one of those shows that when you start watching it you just can't stop. I just got so attached to the characters that I HAD to keep watching.

Topic: Fall

Fall is probably one of my favorite seasons. I love the cooler weather, the cool winds, and the cold rain. I love sleeping with my bedroom windows open so the cool breeze can come into my room, I really like sleeping under warm blankets in a cool room. I'm not sure why, but there is just something about fall that is super exciting to me. I love the leaves changing colors on the trees, I think fall is so beautiful.

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, which may be why I like fall. I love the candy, carving pumpkins, dressing up, and everything else about it. Last year Promise and I helped out at my mom's work with a Halloween Party, which was super fun. Even though I'm not a huge fan of scary movies, I like suspenseful movies, I like to watch them around Halloween, just to scare myself to death.

Another thing I like about fall is that it's the season before winter, which is my other favorite season. I really like how at the end of fall, a little before winter, it already starts snowing, because I think the first snow is the prettiest.

Topic: Losing a winning lottery ticket.

If I lost a winning lottery ticket I would go insane. Well, I guess it would depend how much I had won, because if it was one of the scratch cards where you win $5 or $6 it wouldn't be a big deal, but since I'm guessing they mean an actual lottery ticket I would be devastated.

If it was worth millions of dollars, I think it would be, to anyone, one of the most depressing things ever. Who would want to lost millions of dollars? I know I wouldn't. But I guess if you did, there really wouldn't be anything that you could do about it.

I guess eventually you would get over it, but when you first lost it, it you be so awful. Even though I probably will never win the lottery, I would be so careful as not to lose it. I don't know how I could even think straight think 'I just lost millions of dollars, all because I misplaced a little piece of paper'. I think it would be just as bad as to miss it by just one number.

Topic: Weather

So I personally think that the weather is way to cold. It’s insane that it is only in the 60s or 70s in early September, when it should be still in the 80s. I thought it was way to cold this summer too, especially in July.

I think this winter will be extremely cold, just because it is so cold now. That’s okay, because I personally like the cold weather, which makes no sense since I’m always cold. I think that it will probably be snowing by the end of October, which is to early for snow if you ask me, because even if I like the cold weather I don’t like snow.

Something I worry about with the cold weather is, if it’s so cold now and it gets extremely cold during winter, how much school we will end up missing. I do NOT like missing school because of snow because I don’t like making it up at the end of the year. I would rather just go through the whole school year with maybe 1 or 2 snow days because then we don’t go into my summer.

Topic: School Flooding

We were sitting in out seventh hour study hall, when an announcement came over the intercom for all bus riders to go to their assigned classroom in the high school. When the elementary students started arriving to the class they had no shoes on. I turned to Kayla and asked her what was going on, and then the elementary students started talking about how there was water coming into the elementary classrooms through the windows. Then all the non-bus-riding students were told to go to the commons.

When I got out there I saw my little two little sisters, Madi was crying and Savannah was with one of Madi’s friends. Madi was crying because she couldn’t find Savannah, and Savannah was crying because she was scared. When I go over to Savannah I hear a loud whistle, when I turn around my mom is announcing that the city needs help sandbagging.

My friends and I pile into my moms van, we go to my house to change but the road is closed because of all of the water in the ditch, so we have to go all the way around and cut through people’s backyards.

When were done changing we all pile back into my mom’s van. We drive halfway to the sewer plant, then we have to walk over the railroad tracks and through a ditch full of water. When we got there they had already filled all of the sandbags and were loading them up. We took a different way back. First we had to go through waist deep water, I had to go first, then we went over the railroad tracks again, finally we had to go through thigh-deep water that had a fast current.

When we got through all of that we piled into the back of a truck and got a ride back up to the school. After looking around for my mom, we piled into the back of my dad’s truck and drove around for a while. At last we drove home. We were all a mess.

But I will say it was the most exciting day of school EVER!!
